Lacuna opens its doors – join Biesse for a behind-the-scenes visit

Producing a folding door that not only looks good but also works perfectly in everyday use requires passion, innovation and a high degree of precision. The doors must open up the home to nature and create an almost seamless transition between indoors and outdoors – while at the same time effectively keeping out wind, cold and rain when closed.

Behind the finished product is a production process in which people, materials and machine technology all play an important role.

A central part of Lacuna’s production takes place on a Biesse Winline window production system, now also known as the Biesse Rover Multi W G. The machine is designed for flexible and precise machining of window and door components. The investment in modern production technology gives Lacuna the flexibility and capabilities needed when solutions are highly customised to each individual customer.

That is why a team from Biesse visited Lacuna to take a closer look at the production and learn more about the ideas behind the company, the investment in machinery and the way the folding doors are manufactured.
