Jens Junget establishes himself in Herning and starts a successful hardware business

1912
Jens Junget becomes increasingly successful with the import and manufacture of woodworking machinery and sells his hardware business

1950
Carl F. Petersen begins trading in machinery

1970
Carl F. Petersen acquires J. Junget Træbearbejdningsmaskiner I/S
Carl F. Petersen and J. Junget are merged

1986
Carl F. Petersen J. Junget expands with tool grinding and tool production

1993
Carl F. Junget A/S is established as an independent limited company

1998
Carl F. Junget A/S establishes a subsidiary in Poland, Junget Sp. z o.o.

2000
Carl F. Junget A/S changes its name to Junget A/S

2006
Carl F. Group celebrates its 125th anniversary

2007
Carl F. is acquired by Sanistål. Junget’s owner, Carl F. Petersen Holding A/S, changes its name to CFP Group A/S. Junget establishes a subsidiary in Lithuania, Junget UAB

2008
Junget brings together its departments from Aarhus, Hadsten and Silkeborg in a new, larger headquarters in Hinnerup

2011
Junget A/S acquires Danatec Group ApS in Herning, including Danatec Baltic SIA

2014
Junget acquires Hårdmetal in Norway, establishes a metal division and founds Junget AB

2015
Junget A/S is acquired by an ownership group consisting of CEO Poul Thøgersen, Technical Manager Ole G. Nielsen, GB Holding 2008 ApS and CFP Group A/S

2017
CFP Group A/S leaves the ownership group

2020
Blue Equity joins the ownership group

2023
The company is now owned by Development Director Poul Thøgersen, CEO Jan Weier and Blue Equity

2025
Junget acquires HM Verktøy og Maskin AS in Norway and launches a Norwegian company and webshop at junget.no

2026
Per Mordt becomes part of Junget, expanding the business into the stone and glass industries across Scandinavia
